Peppermint Foot Soak

For those of you that are scrambling to purchase a Mother’s Day gift, peppermint foot soak  is a low cost and personal gift to give.
It is low cost because most of the items you may already have in your home. It is personal because you can make it yourself.  It is a great DIY project. This peppermint foot soak is both soothing and refreshing!


¾ cup epsom salts

¼ cup baking soda

2 peppermint tea bags

6-8 drops peppermint essential oil (if you don’t have this you will want to purchase it) You can buy at your local CVS or from my Wellness Advocate Deb Henderson from doTERRA. If you live in the Worcester, MA area she will deliver it to you if its in stock. Peppermint essential oil is perfect for a foot soak since it has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.

1. Cut open tea bag.
2. Pour tea bag contents into a bowl then add epsom salts, baking soda, and peppermint essential oil and stir until well combined.

3. Place in a jar with a tight fitting lid until ready to use. You can use mason jars that are sold at Dollar Tree.
